Hey guys! My introduction isn't as fancy as Helena's (I'm not as talented at stick figures...) but I wanted to let you all know who I am. My name is Amber and I started this blog to document and track my progress, two of my sister-in-laws started a similar blog to help lose their baby weight and I was inspired! I was originally just going to do it by myself but after talking to Helena, Annie, Chantel and Katie, I realized that something like this was in high demand and we decided to do it together!
My goals are to be healthier and workout regularly (losing some weight would be a nice side effect!) but losing weight isn't my top priority. A while ago I made a decision, I could either change how I look or change how I feel about how I look to be happy, I decided to chane my mindset. My body is going to change throughout life whether I like it or not and to really be happy, I need to find inner peace. Oddly enough as I worked on my self esteem I started to lose a little weight and eat a little better, but I feel my best when I work out regularly, I am just happier. My body isn't where I want it to be and I can see what I would like to change but it doesn't bother me like it used to. Like I said, I have been eating better and looking a little better but I still have a long way to go and that is what this blog is for!
My plan is to work out (I use work out DVDs, I like having privacy and the flexibility to do them whenever I want) at least three times a week. I am also going to up my fruit and veggie intake, I find when I am eating more fruit and vegetables, I am naturally drawn to other good food and drawn away from junk. My plan is pretty simple and I might modify it as we go but that's what I am doing to start!
For my prize, I would chose a $80 shopping spree (shoot - if I won, that would mean I would need new clothes!)

I love how your introduction says everything we were supposed to say.Good job following the rules! Love ya!
She's super good at following the rules.
Thanks for those videos, they are very nice! Also, I'm glad you're happier with yourself, and feel good about your body. You should.
Ugh. How many times do I have to tell you- those are actual photographs of me!
Also, your mindset is a lot healthier than mine. I'm excited about our self-esteem challenges.
And finally, can I get some of your old workout dvd's? I've never really tried those before.
