Me and Jillian? It's a love/hate relationship.


For this weeks physical challenge, I decided to try the 30 Minute Shred.

I never found the stolen copy. But when Kurt saw how mad I was, he went out and bought me another copy. Because he loves me. And he doesn't want me to get arrested (those conjugal trailers aren't as sexy as you'd think).

I know, I know. I'm probably the only person on the planet who hasn't tried it yet (the Shred, not the conjugal trailer. I've done that dozens of times).

Jillian started with some hip circles.

"Awesome!" I thought. "This is my kind of workout!"

And then she moved to knee circles. EVEN DIRTIER. I just wish you guys could have been there.

But then she started doing jumping jacks. And I knew I was in trouble.

It was all downhill from there.

The next morning Kurt had to carry me to the car. I was that sore.

(Ok, I asked him to carry me, but he said no. Because he has no soul.)

I am glad I told Kurt about the self esteem challenge. Most of my compliments come from him, and he really helped me remember whenever I started slipping.

Confidence is attractive. And I used to be super confident. I wonder what happened?

Hopefully these challenges will help get my confidence back into shape!

I'm glad you got the 30 day shred. I hated it the first time. HATED IT. But you do get a really good workout.

I'm sorry Kurt has no soul.
